CGI artists routinely remake reality these days, but it takes an insanely skilled craftsperson to get human faces exactly right. As any portrait photographer will tell you, it’s an art of capturing what’s behind the eyes; I think this artist does it, and he does it on himself, with Pixar-style tools and a lot of talent.
