Listening to presidential candidate Ron Paul, it’s sometimes hard to tell that he really is a Republican.

The Texas congressman is a fierce critic of the Iraq war, believes the Bush administration is violating personal civil liberties and thinks Republicans have not controlled the rise of federal spending. He also makes clear that none of the other GOP presidential candidates appeal to him, and that he is not likely to endorse any of them if he fails to capture the Republican nomination.
